Oil and gas producers in the US Gulf of Mexico have prepared to resume disrupted output as fears surrounding Hurricane Francine’s intensification calm down. As of 12 September, the hurricane had curtailed the production of nearly 992 million cubic feet of natural gas, according to the US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement.
